One other thing I'm going to ding PAST LIVES on is the fact that you have two writers living together and there aren't ANY fucking books in their apartment Seriously Even if they are living in a tight East Village apartment, I completely fail to believe that they wouldn't have at least two well-stocked bookcases in the house.

One funny artistic decision about PAST LIVES: the choice to have two extras constantly locking lips near the Brooklyn Bridge during this entire ten to fifteen minute scene.

And, yeah, I'm nine out of ten Best Picture nominees now. Four more days to get the last one in!

Film review: Past Lives - Celine Song

got a Golden Glove nomination for Best Actress in a Film (Drama) but lost to Lily Gladstone for her performance in " Killers of the Flower Moon."

Greta didn't get an Oscar nomination because the Oscars has only 1 category for Best Actress, while the Golden Globes has 2 for Drama & Musical in Film , as well as fewer nomination slots.

So, the odds of a Oscar nom were against her.

FWIW, I think Gladstone will beat out Emma Stone for the Oscar too

Well I held it together until the last scene of PAST LIVES.

But I'm not made of wood, people.

Is one of the best films recently made & a real tear jerker.
